How long does an STI Test appointment take?

Most appointments take around 10 to 15 minutes. If you have any questions about STIs then please call our team who are available 24/7.

Do I need a referral letter from my doctor?

No referral letter is needed. As your private provider of testing, we manage everything that you need for the test from the appointment, testing, and results reporting. We are here to help you as efficiently as we can.

Do I need to fast or follow and special instructions before my test?

There are no fasting requirements before your tests. If you have a urine test, please try not to use the loo for two hours before your test.

What is the cost of the doctor consultation?

Doctors' consultations are included in the cost of your test. These may be delivered in person or remotely.

Can payment be made at the clinic or on arrival?

All appointments must be booked and paid for in advance. We are sorry that we do not take payments at the clinic. You can pay by Mastercard, Visa, AMEX or by bank transfer.

What can I expect at my appointment?

A medical professional will collect the necessary blood and urine samples at the clinic. No awkward or embarrassing swabs and no fasting or dietary restrictions are required. We recommend not using the bathroom for two hours before your appointment to ensure a sufficient urine sample can be collected.

How will I get my results?

Your STI screen results will be uploaded to your secure online Patient Area as soon as they are available. You can log in at any time to check the results. We will directly contact you through your preferred method once all results are ready.

What if my results reveal that I have an STI?

If your test results are positive for any of the infections covered in the Better2Know Complete Screen, do not panic. Most STIs are curable, and your Better2Know doctor will help you obtain the necessary prescription for a complete recovery.
