How do I book my appointment?

If you need assistance booking your clinic appointment, you can call our patient services hotline who are available 24/7. Our team of expert advisors will be able to help you organise everything. Or, you can click on the ‘Book Your Appointment’ button at the top of this page to begin the booking process. There you will be able to follow the simple steps to choose your date, time and location for your appointment.

What can I expect at my appointment?

When you arrive at your chosen Better2Know sexual health clinic, you will be greeted by one of our doctors or nurses. They will guide you to a private consultation room where they will then explain the sample collection process. They will take your blood sample and give you instructions on how to collect your swab samples, and give you a pot for your urine sample. We recommend that you refrain from using the bathroom for a few hours prior to your appointment to ensure that you can collect a sufficient sample for your test.

How will I get my results?

Your samples will be sent to our accredited laboratory the same day that they are collected. Once they arrive, the laboratory will immediately begin the analysis of your samples.

You can expect to receive your results from 5 working days of your samples arriving at the laboratory. As soon as your results are available they will be uploaded into your secure online patient area. You will be notified by your preferred choice of contact (email or SMS) when they are ready, but you can login to your account at any time to check the progress of your samples.
